Join the community in Painting the Town Festive

Each year, the Village of Newcomerstown invites residents and businesses to help us Paint the Town Festive by decorating their homes and storefronts to celebrate the holiday season!

This community-wide decorating event is all about spreading joy, showcasing creativity, and lighting up our town with holiday spirit. From classic white lights to colorful winter wonderlands, we love seeing the unique ways our community celebrates the season.

How It Works

Participants register their property and decorate the exterior of their home or business. Community members can then enjoy driving or walking through town to admire the festive displays.

We recognize decorations in two categories:

• Residential – Homes throughout the village
• Business – Local storefronts and commercial properties

Winners are selected based on creativity, overall appearance, and holiday spirit.

Whether you go big and bold or simple and elegant, every decorated home and business helps make Newcomerstown shine a little brighter during the holidays.
